I am in the process of upgrading from MH250W / T5 setup to LEDs and have ordered lights and expect them to come in between 3 to 4 weeks. Looking for somebody that can test my par levels and do 3 tests.

1. Test current setup 3 x 250W DE Phoenix 14K with 4 x 39W T5 (Top, middle, bottom)
Two of the 39W are 420nm and I forgot what the other two are (red coral grow or something like that)

2. Test new LEDs at 100% to get what par would be wide open.

3. Adjust Par on new lights to be a little lower than what par was on old lights.

I found a website where you basically buy one and could return it a week later for a $25 fee, but really don't want to do that.

Let me know what you would change?

Thanks
Randy

I have one i can help you with. If you have any more of the birdsnest, we could come up with some kind of trade.

Hi Mike

Yea, I still have some of the neon tip birdsnest.

Will send you a text when the new lights come in.

Thanks
Randy

I was about to post and ask if anyone had a par meter I could borrow.

Though it may be difficult as I'm nowhere near any actual clubs, bham would be the closest.

Just got an email saying the lights are on the way and estimated delivery day is Saturday.

Looks like they will be here quicker than expected.

Thanks again Mike. Will touch base when they get here to work out a day/time

Thanks
Randy

I would be interested in getting some PAR readings on my tank in eagle point (AI Hydra 26). I have some store credit at Reef Revolution we might be able to work out a deal on if you are interested. I don't have anything fraggable yet.
