Different, more affordable than other options, but still needs actinics.
I had been talking with Stephen from Coral Dynamics (same as AquariumLED) before he unveiled this at MACNA. He got burned by a so-called "expert" that was peddling a rebadged streetlight, that looked like crap. This is a great improvement over the original part. Good heatsink, better LEDs, and better color. Without blue LEDs in the mix though, you still need to add a fair amount of actinics to bring the color temp up to where you want it.
