Hey yall, I just wanted to share my experience of my 55 gallon Lps/BTA dominant reef tank and my trigger. At first I was very hesitant to put a triggerfish in my tank but after some time of going to the store again and again I would not help myself but to buy Picasso my very first trigger (and yes he is a Picasso triggerfish!). it has currently been a year in the reef and the casualty so far is one polyp of rhodactis mushroom and the smaller of the two hermits in my tank (and that was the first week). My Picasso is 3.5 inches and is loving life. the other tank inhabitants include 2 clowns, 1 coral beauty, 1 yellow tang, 1 diamond goby. Other than occasionally moving some sand, making a few popping noises at night, and re arranging my coral frags, he is a perfect tank mate. Just thought to share my experience with my reef safe trigger!

I also had some sps that he didn't touch. they just died because im not good at keeping any haha.

Hope your luck last. I had a picaso for 8 years. The first 3 years was fine then he ate every fish in the tank except 1 blue damsel he always hung with.
This is him eating another blue damsel
