Who has the best acan selection now?

I know FnF used to have the best acan selection collection lol, who has taken the reigns from them? After seeing Alpha Corals Raceway thread, I'm inclined to think its him..

I know that Cherry corals has a nice selection of Acans as well. Looking at Alpha's raceway makes me drool!

Lol doesn't it just, such a cool setup! CC has some sweet pieces, but fish in frags had them in Bunches and Bunches at one point.

I think AlphaCorals definitely has the best personal collection I've seen on here.

As far as stores go I usually keep my eye on AAF and ReefPets, Cherry Corals has some nice stuff but I can't ever tell if their pics are legit or not so I've held off on buying from them.

Alphas got a really sweet collection, but as far as sellers go its a toss-up. AAF has some really nice imports, both as frags and mini-colonies, AquaSD has a huge high-end collection they recently picked up and are slowly posting/selling, Cherry Corals has some nice selections but in smaller numbers, same as Ian/ReefOdessey who has some very nice pieces as well.

Yea, Ian does have some nice ones! I picked up 2 from him Saturday and they're both pretty sweet!

yea, I was working in the booth right next to his- standing there staring at his stuff all day long sucked! Especially as I was on the scoly side of his tank, so it was just watching those glaring at me all day long, whispering my name like a sweet siren song....i remember it well....agh!

Well I have ordered from Todd at Cherry Corals and it is 100% legit. He has spectacular stock and is very easy to work with.

Meh, I haven't found them to be all that inexpensive just yet.

They are much cheaper than 05' IME. Remember $400-$500 polyp rainbows? Now we see 2-3-4-5 polyps for that price, and with better color.

+1 for Ian @ ReefOdyssey. He's got likely 20+ morphs of lords. He's got the largest micro collection I've seen as well.

Whatup everyone! Just saw this thread and you know I had to peek. Wow thank you so much everyone for such kind words. This is really inspirational for me. Acans and chalices are my life! I love acans especially and they have been doing so well for me. To be honest I have yet to see anyone post pictures of acans with polyp extension like mine. We are adding crazy concoctions to the water constantly. We do nearly daily water changes. We strictly monitor that tank so much I've almost been living at the warehouse lately. Disease is at a minimum and everything is constantly checked. Its so hard to work with such a packed tank. I have somewhere around a hundred morphs in my 27g acan raceway. Its crazy! Each chosen individually from anyone who had them for sale up to my quality standards. They are a tough coral to collect with the wilds changing color so much. Many companies that sell acans are selling these wild ones as frags. I try to buy aquacultures unless im feeling risky. The best companies for aquacultures acans are cherry corals, reef odyssey-ian, and aqua sd for sure. Not only do these companies always have accurate pictures they are truly great people to deal with. Customer service is very important for me and these guys are the best!
