Who has the lowest source water TDS?

And a poll to see how much it varies. I have city water and my TDS varies from 37-45. Water after the membrane is 0-1 and my resin lasts a long time.

Our City Water gets processed out of the Ohio River.

My friend has worked with Cinti Waterworks for 40 years.

He told me once that fir every 100 gallons of Ohio River water they draw, 10-15 gallons of MUCK has to be cleared and filtered out

So...

100gals of river water = 90g of drinkable water and 10g of discarded muck

130's in Wauwatosa, WI - my maxcap filters last 2 years, membrane lasted 6, I change pre filters every 6 months regardless.

It was 30's in Duluth, MN when I lived there - even a cheap ebay RODI worked amazing and lasted forever

Our well water in southwestern VT aka Arlington, Vermont is 4TDS from the tap! Yes, 4 TDS. I was blown away. Our water is absolutely the best water I've ever drank and quite frankly I would be comfortable in an emergency using it for my tank straight from the tap.

The only filter we have on the house is a sediment filter. However, for the tank I run a BRS 75gpd 4 Stage with booster just because I prefer 0's on the tank. So blessed to have moved our here away from the f...in city.

1-4 TDS here in Canton, GA. I've had the same RODI filters for three years and they still look brand new.
