Who here uses Eshopps Bio Lux?

I am looking at adding some Eshopps Bio Lux media to my IM 50 Lagoon AIO. I was wondering if there are any cons like leeching aluminum into the tank. I heard the bricks can, but I haven't found too much info on the Bio Lux.

Did you ever end up getting some and trying it out? Edit: Nvm i guess it has been discontinued?
