Really wanted to take my boat out this morning but I don't like to go alone, couldn't find anyone. Time to make a reserve of fishing buddies!!

Nice i like a little of everything. Used to be all about largemouths but I haven't been fishing much last few years. Trying to get my boat boat out enough this year to justify having it. Got some nice pike the other day and its a blast with light tackle.

I'd like to get on some stripers or blues too but I've never been good at finding them. Also love to try Mansfield hollow this year.

I live on candlewood lake basically... ice fishing, deep sea fishing and any kind of freshwater but fly fishing.
Sounds like we should get a deep sea fishing party boat rental.

Debating turning my kids 125g into that, the only thing is it gets to be a pain to feed them

Caught earlier this summer in Block Island. Not my biggest striper but super fun cuz it exploded on top using a light tackle 1oz rod with a Super Spook Heddon lure. Taking Monday off to meet some old UConn buddies in Old Saybrook to hunt for some stripers. If that doesn't work out, gonna find some rock piles to hunt black sea bass.

My oldest is 5 and he gets very upset I won't let him cast. Lol I guess eventually I have to just let him prove himself.

We go in kayaks, separate kayaks. I figured I have a Fighter's chance then. He either paddles right next to me and then starts casting or he is away from me and casts in my direction either way he's going to get me soon enough.
