I do have a wall Hammer in my QT tank now for about 30 days and this morning I spotted this redish tube like tentacle poking out amongst the hammer tentacles. Does any one know what it is and should I treat the hammer with anything to get rid of it?

Looks like a vermetid worm maybe. You might try to crush it with a pair of tweezers.
Thanks @Auquanut. I did remove it, the tube was soft almost like algae. Since I will transfer this wall Hammer to my DT soon do you suggest I treat it to avoid transmission from my QT to DT? My standard practice is to dip all corals that I move from my QT to DT again in Sea chem dip and a weak solution of peroxide.

I don't think there is a dip for these snails? I'd never notice one inside of a hammer before. Nice catch!
