I've used hamilton 20K, radiums 20K, phoenix 14K in DE 150W. Of these It's a toss up between the hamiltons and the radiums. IN 150W, the phoenix didn't seemed to be deficient in some spectral areas....but nice blue. Hamilton 20K 250W DE bulbs give the best color I've ever seen in a halide bulb.
Thanks for the input guys! Does the ballast you use make the same bulb look different in separate tanks? I've heard of this but don't have a concrete idea on ballast/ bulb relationship.
We use the 250w 20k EVC bulbs. Closest to color and PAR as a radium. Best bulb I can find so far. Hated the Phoenix when we ran those and they didn't last very long before they shifted. Take a look at our website or our eye candy thread here on here. All of our SPS are kept and shot under the EVCs.
