Who is using diffusers for G5 Radions?

I was curious as to how many XRxx G5 users are using diffusers. Can you give your reasons for or against?

You mean G5 "splash guards"? Yeah, on every single G5. Just cleaned them off yesterday as a matter of fact. You wouldn't believe how much salt spray had accumulated on them...

Pros: They do a great job and provide a nice subtle effect to the tank. They also protect the LED.
Cons: They're held on by magnets and easily knocked off. They also slightly decrease your output (less PAR).

I Was just thinking of this and I really don't see a difference. I am sure if you looked for something sure but is it really obvious and worth it.

I'm using them on my G5s. I like the softened brightness intensity and more even dispersed light spread.
