Who keeps live rock in their sump/refugium?

I have a single chunk of live rock in my fuge. I use it as housing for pods, also something for the caulerpa mexicana that I threw in there to grab onto.

Nitrates are 0. Been trying to raise it a bit. Phosphates are around .01 ppm

Wow you keep the nutrients really low. Any chance you know what the par is at the top and on the bottom?

Par is very high as I use a kessil H380 mounted about 10 inches off the water. I haven't measured it though.

Not only do I have live rock in my fuge, but also a troublesome Tomato Clown that doesn't play well with others. I approach my fuge as a display. A fuge can do its intended job and still look good.

I have marinepure ceramic bioballs & Tonga branches in my fuge below my chaeto&caulerpa, my pods seem to love it.

I keep a bunch of small live rock pieces in there. I like to throw 1 or 2 rocks in my QT if I get a new fish and not using meds to watch them.

I keep rock rubble with my marine pure block Just for bacteria and pods to live on. Plus more rock the better i think !

I just keep rubble rocks in the sump to use to mount frags on but not for any filtration purposes.

I keep a bunch in my sump. All kinds of stuff grow on it. And if I need to set up another tank it's ready to go.
