Who Knows Jebao Powerheads?

I have 1/2 inch glass, and currently have a Jebao PP-15.....very strong, a ton of flow, and easily sticks to the half inch glass.

I want to fill in flow in a couple dead spots and was wondering is a PP-4 has the same magnets, and would stick to 1/2 inch glass? Same question for the PP-8...will it hold on 1/2 inch glass?

I wish I could tell you for sure. Odds are they use significantly smaller magnets on the smaller pumps. How much smaller though?

The question may be do they sell the larger magnets separately so you could upgrade a smaller pump?

For reference, Tunze's smallest pumps (e.g. the Turbelle® nanostream® 6015 and Turbelle® nanostream® 6020 which are around $40/ea) are rated for up to 1/2". They thankfully publish this info on their excellent website.

Pretty much all their pumps are reasonably priced if you need pumps larger than those to fill in...plus you can call or email Roger at the info on his website, or you can message him here on Reef2Reef or open a thread in their vendor forum.
