I don't move them, once they start to grow I just let them be. They are on the sand bed, under radions 70% intensity, thirty inch deep tank.

nice. Planning a zoa garden myself. Do they prefer sand or just low. Mine in current tank are mid to low on rocks. Getting scape ideas for new tank

Seems when I put them higher in my tank they don't grow as good. Glue them on a rock so they have plenty of area to grow.

I’m just beginning my zoa garden on the sandbed as well. I’m curious tho. Will they grow across the sand? Or is it better to use like a flat rock as a base?
