I love em'!They are very nice,grow fast,can make a small profit if you prop them!I think they are very neat.Come in a bunch of colors!Can get red ones pretty cheap!

mine splits just by itself...it split when i reaquascape and totally stress everything..next day i have 2 minis

i love them. i have three different kinds. all variants of purple/red/green/blue. they only thing i dont likw is if i'm not carful they are EVERYWHERE. i started with 4 and if i had to guess there are more then 50 now. its only been 2 years

What I dont understand is though,they produce so fast,but they still have a high price demand!

look local for them. i paid only 15 bucks for mine. heck i sold a rock with 15 of them on it for only 40.00. they are just not something you see in stores to often. many times they are sold as mushrooms and ricordia by uneducated shop owners

There are 2 kinds.....mini carpet anemones and Maxi minis......Maxi minis atleast with the one I had never reproduced over the year or more I had it, it also opened up to 8" across. The mini carpet anemone don't get bigger then an inch or inch and half.......The ones you see that are more expensive are the Maxi minis......They are much, much larger then the minis......

How are the maxis and carpets different OTHER than size? I'm thinking of getting some maxis

There really isn't difference other than size and price tags. I've seen many more colors on Maxis than Minis though. For example, my avatar is a Maxi. It's pink with yellow on the very tips and a green rim. I've got a blue one, a red/orange one, a camo/orange one, a solid green one, and a red/pink with green rim one. All of these are maxis and about half are going under the knife in about a week. Then I can have a cloning stock and a display stock.
