Who makes the best aquarium??

Simple question. Who makes the best aquarium? Starphire or not. Who do you go with and why?

I've always had good luck with Oceanic/DSA, but lately, I've read on a couple forums that they are going out of business. I would go with Starphire if the tank would require glass that is 1/2" or thicker.

I am thinking about going with either perfecto by marineland or Aqueon both 180g. They are well built and pretty affordable.
There are a lot of members here with the new red sea reefer models. Heard they are pretty decent except for some issues with filter socks and limited space with the sump that comes with it

Top of the list would probably be reef savy or elos (if you can get one not counterfeit)

Reef savvy makes awesome tank, great quality, great customer service. I had them make me a 120 a couple of years ago it was rimless and honestly the craftsmanship on it was amazing. They don't use cheap glass either. Check them out.

How big was your tank and how much did it cost you to make it.

My tank is 300 gallons. It has 3/4" starfire glass on all sides. Total was 5400 for the tank itself. Has custom overflow and drainage system integrated

I like DAS,.... They have some cleaver cross bracing options and some ultra super clean seams ,... Best tank I have owned,... But I'm no expert ,...

If you looking for a custom build I would say reef savvy or coast to coast aquariums. They both make amazing tanks. Coast to coast is in NJ so you may be able to save on shipping.

My tank came from Miracles Aquariums and it was by far the cheapest custom option I priced. But it is a great looking tank and I have no complaints.

But in my opinion the quality and look reef savvy implements into their tanks is unmatched. If I had the couple extra grand I would have went with them.

After a huge amount of due diligence I narrowed it down to Reef Savvy or Elos for my custom low iron glass tank. I went with Elos. Amazing craftsmanship. The silicone work is stunning. The beveled low iron glass is also stunning.

Reef Savvy tanks are also really nice.

You can't really go wrong with either.

I have only had experience with one Das tank and it was complete junk. The seams were off square, gobs of silicone and a two piece bottom.

Like I said I'm no expert ,... Just comment on what I have and I have a 400 gallon glass tank and it's the best I have owned,... But I do agree with alin2, Elos is very sexy have seen them personally and they are everything already mentioned,... It comes down to price at the end of the day.... And you get what you pay for I suppose... Does Mr saltwater not have a DAS 375 gallon.... Not that it matters but there are some video's on the tank itself craftsmenship etc... If interested.... In the end your comparing a Ferrari = Elos vs Bmw = DAS and Toyota = marineland.... Point is there are good tanks for every budget... Sure every one agrees we would all like a Elos/reef savvy if we could afford it. There is an 160 Elos for sale on eBay for 5500 dollars my 400 cost less than half that....
