So I recently posted on here about a very small tang getting ich(only fish to show signs) and it died last night after having him in quarantine for a week or so.
After doing a lot of research on the parasite, ich can literally be brought into your aquarium from anything! Fish inverts, corals, sand, rock water.... Anything. They might not feed on anything but fish but they reproduce on any and everything else. And that's the longest stage. And I'm not sure about some of you but I can't afford to set up a quarantine tank for corals.
So my question is is it worth it to quarantine if you're just quarantining fish?
