Yea it was beautiful and was my screen saver for a long time.

A true legend even by today’s standards! I stole many ideas from his setup and implemented many into past builds! I think the thing that intrigued me was not only the way the display was shown off but his organizational skills with his equipment. Would have been a dream come true to have seen it in person!

wow

read his philosophy section, very up to date stuff regarding nutrient removal vs breakdown internally. That's a very reliable system, about ten thousand living pico reefs clean/remove like he does, he uses detritus control/removal via system design to prevent problems associated with buildup. his method can be applied across systems of all sizes to get similar outcomes

One of many great tanks from days gone by. Maybe we could have a thread of old masters for inspiration? There have been some outstanding reefs over the years and much can be learned! Steve Tyree's was always one of my faves too.
