Who sells 1 inch diameter return nozzles?

Looking for low profile return nozzles that are 1 inch (26mm) in outside diameter.
They have 25mm, and they are all rounded at that size. I don't want those long once either. Just simple 1 inch slip in nozzle.
If I can't find these anything you guys suggest? Is 25mm what everyone buys for 1 inch, or it will fall out? Or 25mm and glue it?
How about those random flow nozzles for 1 inch? Worth it?

I just looked for you, odd Lifegard brand didn’t have one on Amazon…you try Premium Aquatics?
2.54 cm = 1” so my guess is 25mm should be a lil loose but often metric equivalents on Amazon are sometime off

I did find your products and I was gonna use your stuff as an alternative, but the sizes are not specified for the outside diameter of that Random Flow Generator. On the pic above your generator is a female going into male pipe. I have the reverse of that. I have a normal bulkhead with 1 inch female hole if you will. I need to stuff the "inlet" part of your generator into my bulkhead, but I don't know your size. I did find your adapters and it will work, but I want a super low profile nice clean look; bulkhead and short nozzle, or generator even at this point.

I can't believe it's so hard to find a short nozzle for 1 inch bulkhead.

hmm, not i'd run a slip-on fitting.

Either you glue it on or you hope it doesn't come off and make a mess of your tank spraying water everywhere. Here's my current setup. You could shorten this by removing one link, cut down the bulkhead fitting. I think you are going for the least obtrusive look possible. FWIW, I'd change out the slip bulkhead for a threaded one. they're only 5 bux on amazon.

Why don’t you cut a short piece of 1” pvc and stick it into the female bulkhead and then slip the fitting over the pvc that is now sticking out of the bulkhead? Seems like the easiest solution.

That would definetly work.

The only thing lost in that sort of setup, would be adjustability. But if the bulkheads are sufficiently below the water line and positioned where he needs them, that may not be an issue.

Could even use black 1in PVC pipe for a clean look

Because the PVC pipe is exactly 1 inch on the outside. It will go into the bulkhead, but not inside the "Fitting". At least not according to that 25mm description. I don't have the fitting either because I hesitated to buy the 25mm one. Now I will have to buy it see myself. That "25mm" is basically that PVC pipe sticking out of the nozzle. Is the pipe a Metric pipe? (if you already stated that I apologize for missing that). If so, then a 25mm pipe has an OD of aprox 0.98in.

ANY of our adapters listed as a 25mm pipe adapter will fit a 25mm pipe

It is possible that this 25mm Socket adapter will fit directly into the 25mm Bulkhead for the shortest profile

I say "possible" because we have not tested that, but it is designed to fit into socket fitting, such as a 90degree elbow with a 25mm female socket, so it reasons that it should also fit a metric 25mm bulkhead - but you never know without testing.

Also, not sure if I missed it, but what brand aquarium is this? Or is it a DYI build?

You were right. I simply need 1 inch pipe or your adapter between the 2 items.
It's a DYI for $10 as I had free glass. This nozzle is the most expensive part of the build. I drilled and put 1 inch bulkhead without buying the return nozzle first.

I should have bought your 1in Random Flow Generator and build around it. Because now I will have some head pressure on the pump.

Just to be clear - metric pipe is referenced by it's OD, or outer diameter. I.E: 25mm, 32mm 40mm or the outer diameters of these pipe sizes. The inner determined will be determined by the wall thickness - usually the pressure rating

Schedule 10, 40 and 80 pipe on the other hand is referred to by the INNER diameter. 1/2in , 1in and 1.5in are the INNER Diameters of these pipe sizes. The outer diameter will be determined by the wall thickness. in general (but not always) that can be determined by the Schedule rating

It's a little more complicated than that, but that's the jist of it. This is a good chart that can help you find the inner and out diameters of various pipe standards

Unfortunately, the two standard are not directly compatible

We make pipe adapters that should be able to accomplish what you are trying to do. All of your adapters convert pipe end to Loc-line.
