So as summer dawns in south Florida my tanks temperature looms at a consistently warm 80 degrees. At what point do I need to step up a and add a chiller on a sps tank? Also, if a chiller is needed what do i need size wise for 80 to 120 gallons?

i closed of my tank room and run an ac all the time keeps my room at 68 degrees and my tank stays at 76/77 degrees constantly

You don't need a chiller at all! Just a good fan on the sump. I promise it will work.

Revhtree, thanks for the link, time to do some reading and come up with a plan. In addition to adding a fan I might also create a cut out in the back panel of the stand to allow more air movement with in the stand itself. A warm puff of air greets me everytime I open my stand right now.
