thinking of adding a tunze wavebox to my 60" long 36" wide 24" tall 225 gallon reef...i already have 2 x ecotech Mp40s and 2 x neptune wave pumps on it, but, i want that back and forth pulse on my sps polyps.... who has the wavebox on their reef and would you recommended it?

If you do not mind the look of the box in your tank go for it. Nothing moves water like a wave box! I had mine on a 300DD 72x36x27

I have one in a 300liter sump, great bit of kit, keep the entire water mass moving with only a couple watts of power.

Keep in mind they make a bit more noise than QD MP40's because if the winding up and down, and there is some talk of tanks not lasting as long because of the constant wave motion stressing the seams.

ill probably skip the wavebox then, just add another MP40. thanks for the input.

You can create waves with MP 40's....

Would look cool in a long tank.
