Why aren't these sold at premium aquatics or marine depot? Do they have a rule where you have to be the manufacturer of the lights or something?
I mean they carry kessils and ai and others which are probably much smaller companies then the big Chinese factories.

Good question, and I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in the region of maximizing profit and mark ups. Or probably more likely the fact that reef breeders doesn't have every product in stock at all times so many people going through those huge retailers would be ****** off when they order a light and realize it won't be in from china for another 2-3 weeks after the point of purchase and then finally be shipped. Great product but I will say the fact that they aren't continuously in stock and ready to ship ASAP is an issue for some people, including me.

That sounds like the case, I think it would be really cool though to have some budget fixtures at those bigger online retailers. Although now I kind of doubt that they would be selling for so cheap since everyone would be taking a cut from the cost.

If I'm not mistaken, the lights don't come all set up, don't they build them to order? I've seen the same light under a different name with different led setup, which leads me to believe they are just buying the casing and stuff empty then putting them together? Ihavenoidea tho
No, we order them with our layout. We have the value units and photon24s in stock.

Thanks , I appreciate it. It was alittle pain using the maxspect rail kit. Had to do some razor blade on the tank inside lip so the rails would fit. All good to go now. Lol

nice, i just got mine goin. i just mounted mine to the ceiling. dayum this light looks nice. soooo much better than my last light. really happy with it. now just gotta figure out the whole programming thing
