Also because this is learning experience as well as a game/contest, tell everyone a little about your tank. (Size, lights, filtration flow) hopefully we will have a mix of lights to compare from.
So I haven't picked the new coral yet. But I promise it will be pretty.
And to tell you a little about the coral conditions now. My tank is a 24g all in one nano. Flow is from a xf230 maxspect gyre at 40% and jebao D.C. 2000 running around 40%. Lights are radion g4 xr30 pro at 10% on AB+ coral growth spectrum. Filtration/ Other than live rock, I'm running a macro algae reactor and no skimmer.
Very fair.So is everyone going to be able to pick up their frag next Saturday? Need to know today who will be able to for sure, that way I can make them this evening and give them a chance to heal before finding new homes. So anyone I don't hear from today, will miss out on this round.
********Also key point!!!!******
I don't mind giving the frags away. But you have to be to participate Not get a free frag, disappear and never submit any updates/data. If you are just trying to get a free frag and not submit anything you will not be able to participate in another contest. Does everyone feel that this is fair? This is to help everyone in the reefing community get a better idea of how to take care of specific corals under different circumstances i e tanks, lights, filtration, Etc and hopefully we can even make a chart once all this is finished on every Coral that we study.
