So just got my sons new reefer filled up and realized that the pump cord is under the stand. No way Im draining this bad boy so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The pump is a jecod dcs 9000 ide really hate to have to cut the cord but sometime it happens.

How many gallons are you talking and I would drain it into barrels and keep my equipment in the best condition possible and refill it back up just my 2 cents

Not ugly its stuck under the back. I was curious if I bought the extenshin they make for it if it could be rewired?

If it's the plug and will effect the flooring I would drain it for sure and refill if it's just the cord maybe figure a safe way to power it still but me personally I would just drain it into a few 55g barrels siphon it out and pump it back in

Its the end of the cord that connects to the controller. So I cant even power it up.

Yeah I would get a few 55g barrels and drain it but you can make a nice mixing station with them after at least. Plus won't have to replace any equipment just some time

Guess Im being lazy even if I drain the sump and tank I still wouldnt be able to lift it off the plug with the sand and rock. Took me 3 days to build scape it. Oh well cut it and buy a new one I guess?
