who's bringing in the sick acros?

i want to buy a load of ultra acros. seems 5 years ago it was fairly easy to get your hands on nice mini-colonies ala reefer madness / frag farmer style...but now? :neutral:

everyone has sick lps these days and lord knows i can buy le frags all day long...but i want some instant tank fillers, darn it! :angel:

am i stuck with the same old fiji/bali maricultured stuff from liveaquaria? *snore*

you need to revisit Live aquaria - divers den is getting the best stuff I have ever seen. Check out the aussie SPS thread on RC, they had a solid BLUE table today.

i suppose... i do check them out daily, but must be missing the super nice ones. most of what i see are the same maricultured pieces. maybe i'm just not fast enough on the draw, although i usually check them as soon as i get the alerts on my phone.

plus, i would rather not buy onesy-twosy pieces as they are available...i'd rather say "hey, send me your 10 best colonies" all at once, without getting duplicates and all ultra grade. can anyone do that anymore?

Make sure you are checking the Diver's Den® - WYSIWYG section and not just the regular coral section. I agree with Rik they have some nice stuff in there This is a nice section:

I agree, the old Reefer Madness had the best acro colonies. Really awesome a. secales and a. cerealis and what not. I spoke with Kris Wray at Bluezooaquatics and he tells me they are receiving Fiji corals from Chris T who runs WSI (old owner of RM), so should be getting in some of the same stuff. Evidently they also receive acros from other distributors. Gonna have to keep an eye of BZ to see what they come up with.

finally, someone who sees what i see. i know the diver's den stuff isn't bad, but it's just not the same. reefermadness had a mad hookup on the best pieces in the industry, and that hookup just doesn't seem to have been passed along to anyone else. will check out bz...fitting acronym they've got!

We had a very nice Aussie shipment just a couple of weeks ago and guess what ... colony of both the true a. Tortuoso and a. Echinata ... SOLD in seconds!!! Egad ... now that's :sad: .... makes ya wanna :cry:
If only I had a bigger tank and set up for SPS .... that would've been mine .. All Mine ... muahahah!!
