In need of tank
I've noticed a big trend in SPS circles to basically remove as much as possible from the water via skimming, then adding amino acids back in via supplementation. There are a number of folks who have had good success dosing AAs, and I am curious if this would have any sort of place in Z&P tanks (or even LPS). Is anyone here dosing (on a regular basis) with amino acids or some other from of trace elements? What brands are you using and what results have you seen? Or do people feel that we have enough in there because we don't typically strip out as much as SPS keepers do?
