Who's from Jersey!

I've been to all the places. Hidden reef has the best prices on dry goods. But it's tanks are the worst. I would take fish from them if they were giving them away. Fish factory is nice inside. But IMO is more freshwater. Their coral section is sad. ACC was a nice place great customer service. And coral section was ok. But the hands down best place for coral is ASR in malvern PA. I'm in south jersey and it's 1.5 hr ride for me. But Mike at ASR is the most knowledgeable person your going to speak to. They only really sell coral. A few fish. But mainly coral. ASR (aquarium specialty research ) has the best coral selection in the tri state area. And at hobbiest prices. He's on facebook. And post video of the tanks every morning. Also ultimate corals in Jackson nj. Mark has a nice set up. His prices are a little higher. It a home based business. Out of his garage. But a real nice guy. If you think malvern or Jackson is too far of a trip it's not. You won't regret going to ASR. Check him out on facebook.

There is a place that just opened up in deptford NJ that I went to last Friday called @tsm corals. The place is nice and they are still not finished setting it up ( and I can't wait to see when it is). I ran into a problem with one of my fish and both Ray and Matt (the owners) were willing to help me out with their years of experience on how to help my fish out. They even lent me a pump to borrow for the time being. They did all this knowing I wasn't going to buy anything while I was there because of the sickness to my fish. They love what they do and it really shows when they talk about the hobby. After seeing their facility and finding out about the process they do before they even sell one of their fish or corals, blew my mind. I believe that they are not in business for the money but they are in the business to make sure the fish and corals have a healthy, long life after they sell them to the customer, and it truly shows when you go there. The passion and love that they have is like nothing I have seen before from the hidden reef (which is a joke compared to TSM coral), the fish factory (and I truly enjoy ROY and his knowledge in the hobby thats why I would take the hour plus drive up there), and last the aquarium center (which isn't bad but is the reason I believe my tank is having a problem right now). TSM coral is the best I have ever seen and I can honestly say I will never buy a fish or coral from another store EVER. I will get all my livestock from TSM. Everyone should check this place out. And it will change the way you think buying a fish for your tank.

Went to this place 3 times over the last 3 months. They have been open a little while. They look like they have a nice set up. But their corals are nothing special. Hardly any color. The only thing that had any color was a bta they had. It looked great. But I haven't been impressed. I stopped in 3 times already. Will stop in again cause it's only 5 min out of the way on the drive home from work. They do look like they have a real promising set up there. Would be nice to have a place in south jersey to buy coral. But this place ain't it yet.

Does the first exit over the Outerbridge in Stank Island count as Jersey? LOL. I'm just getting back into the hobby and just found Aquatic Obsession and I've been going there quite a bit. I also go to Absolutely Fish.

U know where I'm talking about? If ur on 295 north there is no exit u have to do the back way past shalines but if ur going 295 south there is in exit for delays drive when u get to the top of the ramp make a left go over 295 and right after the bridge it's on ur left before the gas station it's all the way in the back left side of the complex

I know it probably a hike for you. It is for me too. But ASR in malvern pa. Is by far the best in the tri-state area. IMO. Worth a 2hr drive once in a while.
