Who's from Jersey!

Absolutely Fish,
1080 US-46, Clifton, NJ 07013

Best selection of fish, most healthy and guarantees fish health, great coral selection. Has fresh water fishes too.

Lots of knowledgeable sales helpers at store.

I am, unfortunately. I don't actually live in Cherry Hill, but that's the general area. I go to the Aquarium Center. It's pretty good and also the only decent fish store in the area.

Elizabeth, NJ! Pandemic build here! I lost my 55g during superstorm sandy and couldn't bring myself to make that investment again. I saw the Aquatop Recife 24 as was such a good deal that I caved and 9 months later here I am joining forums!!! I like the following shops: Absolutely Fish, Ocean Gallery II (where I purchased my Recife), Aquatic Obsessions and Reefco Aquarium Services.

Don’t forget Sea Level aquarium store in pine brook!

I'm from north Jersey, Jersey city, most of my purchases have been from online vendors or hobbyists and some from the convention held here in June.
I am stocking slowly.

Most active members are from central and southern NJ. I think there's maybe 10 or 12 from up north (incl me).

My Go To LFS is http://w ww.sealevelaquarium.com/ in Pine Brook on Rte 46.

My 2nd Go To LFS is https://absolutelyfish.com/ in Clifton on Rte 46.

My 3rd Go To LFS is http://www.aquatic-obsessions.com/ in Avenel on Saint Georges Avenue.

Many years ago I used to go to a store on 46 in Clifton, I can't recall the name but I wonder if it's the same store with a different name.
Regardless, thanks for the information.

The NJReefers link is same Absolutely fish store. I really like their quality and collection. And often the price is not bad!

I had an OUTSTANDING service experience from Premium Aquatics!

Anyone looking for buying equipment, supplies, anything they carry - pls. consider them.

I am writing primarily due to my experience with them but you also SAVE on Tax, I do not pay any sales tax in NJ when I buy from them.

My experience: I bought a Hanna Phosphate tester from them, as you know Phosphate tester has many ranges - I had question and I called them/ left voicemail as it was off hours. I had never had customer service call back in other companies ... but Premium Aquatics called me back, answered my questions regarding Hanna test kit AND other questions on light and powerhead I needed to buy. And they had NO sales push.

Can't ask for more - pls. support this online site - we need such companies and service: https://premiumaquatics.com/

The original store was sold to Patrick by Ed, 20 something years ago. I think Ed moved to his vacation home in the Virgin Islands. Patrick renamed the store Absolutely Fish. Udder Ed, the store was Aqua-Tropics. I had to look back in a 1992 newsletter of the Windows to the Sea Marine Aquarion Society to refresh my memory on the original name.

Yes, I went there when it was Aqua Tropics, I couldn't think of the name.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane lol it was a great store, looks like I have to take that ride again.

You have to go to Iconic Aquarium in Tenafly. It is a tiny store but loaded with all kinds of frags and colonies. His frags put Absolutely Fish's to shame. He does not carry many fish but stocks mainly weird fish that you won't find at most other stores. I bought my blue stripe pipefish, Eviota gobies and cardinals from him.
