Tigerpyge are priced for the uniqueness of the hybrid mix... if that makes any sense. I've seen them go for $300 and then very few for $500-$1000, which are exceptional grades.

Thank you, I will shop around before making a purchase seems prices are all over the place on this fish.

While it is a beautiful fish, I think for the price I'd just go with an eibl's angel. $40 vs $500-$1500. Though if it appeals to you that much I guess it's worth it. I said I'd never spend that much on a fish and then found myself with a $500 lightning maroon in my broodstock system. All in the eye of the beholder I guess.
