I'll be getting this delivered soon just wanted thoughts on it. How do you like it which gfo do you run and carbon? Thanks.

I use their dual reactor on my flat, I run the high capacity GFO and the rox carbon, sometimes the rox mixed with the large particle but mainly the rox it seems to be much better.

Nice thanks. This might be a stupid question but I should run both in the cycle process right?

I didn't personally, I ran carbon during its cycle but didn't start running GFO for a couple months. Even then I probably use less GFO than I should, but that's just me.

I have run one since April. EAsy to set up. I use the small particle lignite carbon and the regular GFO.

I run gfo and carbon....get extra sponges....they clog easy and lose durability after 3 or 4 washes

We run the brs dual reactor with matrix carbon and phosguard in one chamber and purigen in the other love it. I also use a two little fishes 150 with matrix biological media. Everything plumbed off the return pump to cut down number of pumps and extra heat from them. Also use a dc return pump to cut down electricity use.

Nice yea I got the kit with the maxi jet 1200 I believe it is also hear good things about that pump.

I run a BRS Dual reactor on my 120g DT. Total system volume is around 160g or so. The high capacity GFO and Carbon from BRS. I run them both at the same time GFO->Carbon. The GFO tumbles more vigorously than my old Two Little Fishes did but thats because my first go round solidified so better safe than sorry.

I have the Carbon locked up tight between a couple of filter pads so it doesn't grind at all.

Really, I mean really high quality plastic housing with over sized delivery and return lines. The change out isn't bad either, its the same as many of the RO/DI filter systems from BRS.

Like I said, I changed from TLF and love the improved quality and ease of use.

The mj 1200 is a legendary powerhead in aquarium keeping. Known for lasting n budget price for quality.

I run the dual into our filter sock just to catch any particles that may be left after rinsing for a day. Then just into skimmer section. The other one goes into fuge. Don't think it matters really just so it's to your liking.
