Why Algae Barn?

So I was preparing to drop a good chunk of change on things I can only see with a microscope when I noticed something odd. Now it’s not a big deal as we are in this hobby of expensive rocks, but I noticed my sub total 1/2 way through was just shy of $200. I noticed I still had to pay for shipping, so I continued shopping and put together a full order, only to realize free shipping is t an option? I think spending a little over $400 on some microorganisms and still having to drop he dough on shipping is a little excessive, don’t ya think?
Now I don’t want this to be a bash on algae barn or any other R2R vendor, but I thought it was odd that even though we order things next day air, some places you still have to pay for 2-3day shipping.

On a side note. I still and will always order from algae barn. Shipping may not be free. But they always treat their customers well!

That seems expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for I'm with you, been very happy for years with algae barn

Algae Barn has always been anything over $40 dollars ships free. Unless it requires overnight shipping. Such as the Biota Mandarins.
