Well it’s labeled as a frostbite from sea and reef. My local lfs ordered it. But I was thinking the same thing. Looks a lot like a subzeroWow what is that?? A subzero?? It’s really cool! I hope the spots become more defined as it grow
Mine do the same thing, then I feed them and they go to the bottom like it made them heavier or something! Here is the other one. Lol amazes me they just chill right under the surface of the water like it’s the safest spot to be

I mean, I guess unless you’re looking to breed and sell the babies the name doesn’t really matter. It’s a very nice fish though, I wish I had picked better patterns when I got my first pair of clowns but it’s too late now! My second pair is Wyoming White male with a Frostbite female, they’re both under 1” but I’m hoping that they hit their growth spurts soon because it’s getting tiring to feed them the itty bitty pellets and having half of them go to wasteWell it’s labeled as a frostbite from sea and reef. In my experience clowns are one of the slowest growing fishI mean, I guess unless you’re looking to breed and sell the babies the name doesn’t really matter. Yeah, my first pair took about 3 months to start growing but once they did they really packed on weight quick. I’ve had the new guys for around 2 months now so I’m hoping the same thing happens. It takes a really long time to get to the 3-4” adult range though, last time I did this it took almost 5 years for the female to get that bigIn my experience clowns are one of the slowest growing fish
