I mentioned the lack of availability of the 50g lowboys to the ZooMed rep at Aquashella Orlando and he pointed me toward a local reptile shop that was a couple of miles away from me. They have several tanks that have similar SKUs and similar names that are still lowboys.

Like I said, I only know this is true for the 80 gal RR tanks. If you're interested in a certain tank you may be in luck. This 60gal frag tank is described to have non-tempered sides.

But here, for the 80gal it says it was built with tempered glass. "This aquarium has been assembled with tempered glass panels for safety and durability."

Just a FYI Seapora makes 2 different versions of the 80g rimless RR tank, the regular version only has the bottom pane tempered. The EDGE series has all panels tempered.
