Why are my Acros turning green?

Here are my acros. One is a Garf Bonsai and the other is undefined. I’ve noticed that the one on the left has turned more green then when i got it. It was more blue with green polyps. The hard bonsai (right) is starting to turn green right at the edge of the base. They seem extremely healthy but i’m worried because i recently ordered a PC Rainbow acro and i’d hate for it to lose its coloration.

the acros are about 1 foot from my ai prime hs running blue no higher than 90 and whites no higher than 13. are my parameters off or they too close or too far from light?

IME, with LEDs, if there isn’t enough full spectrum lighting, acros tend to go green. Too much blue lighting.

You need more intense lighting and more white light

Yeah, I would agree with low PAR. Some acros turn green if I have them shaded too much.

got it. i’ll move them to a higher spot. what should i make my whites to?

You should max out the blues, Uv, v and bring up the whites a bit. I have a prime 16 on a 6 gallon side frag tank that grows acros very well with this schedule.

i’m scared to crank up the whites because i just went through a terrible hair algae outbreak and i’d rather just let it die off before i touch the whites. what should i change the others too

Looks like a classic case of acro indigestion from phosphate starvation if you ask me.

Then you can increase the intensity.
