Why are my anemones so small?

Thank you for the photo. I can see they are definitely a bit small. Can you let me know what you are using to light the tank?

Are your Phosphates completely 0? I always keep some phos in my tanks with nems, but the creatures are extremely hardy once acclimated to tank life (and it sounds like yours were if they were extended for several months prior to this)
Do you run carbon? Or are you possibly aware of any chemical changes in your tank? (dosing something new, medication for algae/fish etc)

I have had no phos for a very long time. I don't run carbon currently but I had some a 2 months ago. I am not aware of any chemical changes in my tank.

Nitrite test can be thrown away. You don't need it anymore. You do however need an alkalinity test and a phosphate test at minimum. Like I said previously, get your nitrate up to around 10. Don't make any other changes until you get the other 2 tests.

Do you feed the anemones? One theory could be they are starving and slowly shrinking due to having no nutrient to absorb ( 0 nitrate / phosphate).

Disintegration will look like they are melting from the foot (base) up.

Best not to direct feed them imo. The raised nitrates and po4 will feed them.

I Usually squirt some shrimp right above them and it falls down. They used to grab it, but not sure if they do anymore. I am feeding more and I have reduced my skimmer to hopefully raise the nitrates and po-4

For feeding food i've found melted frozen (very fine) sprinkled over to work, though I haven't intentionally fed them in many years.

i’d try raising the salinity (specific gravity) up to natural salt water levels of 1.026. maybe bump up the lighting to 75-85% over a few days.

Don't make a bunch of changes. Fix one thing and give it 2 weeks before changing another. Only exception is if something is really bad.

I tested both alk po-4 and got

Does anyone here have a AI nero 5 because I just got mine today, but there is a flashing red light and the powerhead won't work. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
