Why are my nasreus snails all clumped up.

All of my nasreus snails are all clumped up together next to each other on my live rock... wondering if they all could be having a huge orgy and mating or if this behavior could be something else.. there is no food there and normally they are all in the sand?

Very strange....your positive there wasn't something in there they were after??

Are they new?
Possibly eating a dying one of their own.

There not new they have bin in there ill have to see if one is dead but it didn't look like it.

They are carion eaters, so something must have died to draw them. I have seen this behavior when I was losing a clam or fish.

Just asking, as I just had them do that this week as well, and a couple casualties.
