I bought some unknown named zoa's about 2 weeks ago. All the heads were open and overall happy in the store. They were placed at the bottom of my tank in the sand bed for about a week, none of the heads would open, I recently moved them a little higher up on a rock. Since I have owned them I maybe have 2-4 heads stay open. What's going on?

They look like radioactive dragon eyes. Make sure the have light and nutrients. Did you dip them before introducing?

I dipped them in less then a cap full of Hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes, then dipped them back in a separate cup of saltwater then placed in my tank.

Sometime after dipping in peroxide they will stay closed for a couple of days. If after a week or so they are still closed up try a dip in furan 2

Is their any sand particles flying around?

No, not that i see. Since I posted my post, I have moved them in a shady area with low flow and a few more heads have tried to open up, still not sure what's going on.
