Why are there brown scar?
Confused.

It was written dose bacteria and bacteria nutrient every 20 days on prodibio liquids.
never heard of anyone dosing bacteria unless they are cycling a tank. no idea what prodibio liquids are. there are zillions of bacteria in your tank I can assure you that you do not need to dose bacteria every 20 days.

CYano is not just red. Its brown, dark brown, red, green and almost black.

Nope. I don't know how your eyes see them. Today reef expert came for monthly maintance to system. And said it's not cyano. Suggested not to add bacteria liquids anymore. I dosed 2 boxes of bacteria every month. And system has too much bacteria. Dosing 160 ml dkh daily keeps kh level at 6.4 ppm.

Well, I'm just giving you friendly advice. It's not diatoms. I had the exact same thing for months. I thought it was diatoms too, but it turned out it was diamtoms. I added more flow and it went away.

Not in my experience. Diatoms will always be present when silica is. Flow doesn't solve it. Cyano congregates and builds up in dead zones cause the ugliness on the sand and rock. When it can't "build" up it dies off and goes away. Almost everyonevery calls anything brown "diatoms". The only way those are diatoms is if OP has a new water source or added new sand perhaps after all these months.

do u have a lot of corals?

I have 10 corals which are around 25 cm each.

flow could cure diatoms just as easily as it could cure cyano.....

I have vortech mp60 and mp40. They flow at maximum performance. But I don't think also it's the main problem. I kept my giesemann 640 watts lightning on 16-18 hours of a day for 2 months. I think I should really decrease the lightning scheadule.

You lighting schedule should only be this long if you are considering moonlight in your schedule. You should only have 8-11 hours of actual photo period. And I agree you should stop the bacteria thing. And agree it's diatoms probably from the bacteria dosing and long light schedule

People come home and tell me keeping the lightning on. They wanted to watch. Sometimes I kept the lightning on for 3 days. And I added 9 box of bacteria last 4 months. Now I will tell and won't keep the lightning that much long. I also won't add bacteria anymore. I always thought adding too much bacteria will help me keeping po4 at 0 ppm.
