Why are there no invert diseases?

But yet they survive and thrive again. Nature gives them the tools to adapt. I'm sure snails have their own species specific diseases but it's probably not something that is studied in depth.
Oh, my question was not snails being wiped out, it was: in a tank environment why do we not see fast spreading diseases that can severely dent or wipe out an "invert" population like we do in fish.

I would argue that most people are over zealous in their qt and disease worry process
Been keeping sw coral reef tanks for 10yrs. Haven't had a bad outbreak of velvet or ich and wiped out everything. Not once. Yes I've seen them present and lost 1 or 2 fish but that was because the tank was at its limits for bioload anyway. The weaker smaller fish usually become the targets.
Is it an ocean in a box? Idk but sometimes I treat it that way for the better
D

no, but when a tank gets velvet, it kills the fish, but we don't see something like that with snails.
Due to their heavy secretion and ability to clean themselves
