Why can’t I be a stickhead

I appreciate everyone's replies. I'm seeing a combination of light and flow, as I think my parameters are stable enough that I should be seeing these acros do "ok" in my tank for longer then the are. The flow is something that I can't bump becuase of the lps in my tank simply can't handle it. I am going to try an increase in lights to 40% over a couple of days. If the issue persist, and I can conclude its due to flow, then oh no I have to get another tank!

Try if you could rent a PAR meter from one of the local stores.

It is going to be challenging as your tank has some low light corals too. My guess is that you will settle around 60%, if the acro frags are only ~1-2” below the water line. I had to crank it up to 100% on a IM25 lagoon and was still lacking light.

Light is just one part of the equation, make sure you have good flow and water parameters as well.

wow 60 percent, I think I severely underestimated how high I could go. It just seemed wrong to be running it so high on a nano, but I will start with the 40 and work my way up. Thank you for the input

Also side note, anyone know how to make the title of your thread bold? I feel like its a very simple thing to do but I couldn't figure it out.

60% is a wild guess. Do not increase to 60% blindly, you might end up with a tank with no coral at all. Tampa - Orlando area has some of the big name coral farms and good LFS. You will be able to find a PAR meter somewhere.
