Why can’t I keep the simplest coral

I have no issues keeping LPS corals candy canes,Xenia,zoas,Duncans,Favia,GSP,leathers etc...
But I can’t for the life of me keep the easiest coral in the hobby mushrooms I can’t even keep the ugly mushroom that hitchhikes on live rock.
Livestock to go with all the coral
1-clownfish
1-foxface
1-blue tang
1-cleaner shrimp
1-peppermint shrimp
1-tuxedo urchin
1-feather duster
All the dang snails
All coral is growing beautifully but every time I get a mushroom forget about it I guess it’s just not meant to be for me

They like shade, maybe your lights are too much?? They also do well in higher nutrient water. I have the opposite, my shrooms are annoying and won't stop growing... if you need any you can have mine lol

Yea... put them under something where they only get filtered light.. then they’ll grow like weeds.

Just stick some in a bag with a little water and mail them to me the weather is warm enough lol
