As far as rowa and bio pellets. Dr Tim told me you're not supposed to run both together as the bio pellets do both anyway. Something to do with the bacteria actually needing phosphates.

Alk can be higher even though calcium is to, my calcium is 500right now and alk is at 10.2.Also you can run rowa with bio pellets a guy I work with has done it for almost a year now with great results,I didn't think it would be good to run phosphate media with bio pellets either but I guess ya can lol.You just need to remember to feed the tank well

Ever since taking my biopellets offline as well as my rowaphos, what i have seems to be doing well ... Usually they are goners by now ... hopefully they make it!

What's your salinity and also your mag. I have a 75g cycled for three months started adding fish and corals in March mainly sps I also run npx bio pellets.
Nitrate 0
Phos 0
Salt 1.026
Cal 421
Mag 1350-1400
Alk 7-8
Temp 76
Ai sol blues : w45% B70%
ATI 54w x 4
I don't have a problem with sps so I don't think it's your pellets or lights also what's your alkalinity hi point and low point ?

Only thing I see wrong is your flow and light % how high off the water line is your lights I keep all my lights 12" above.

As stated earlier my lights were turned down due to bleaching ...i am now running 60%blues 40% whites. Lights are 10 inches above water .... what is wrong with my flow? 4 maxijet1200s plus my return is 850 .... 5650GPH 75x turnover rate on a 75gal tank?

Ok if you feel that is enough flow wait and see the results you get from the changes you made hope everything goes well. The only reason I say flow is cause I love a lot of it. Run two mp40's with a eheim 1262 for return pump. At peak my mp's go up to 75%.

If your running your mp40s at 75% plus your return you've got the same turnover rate as me ... now...if ya run em 100% its around a 97x turnover rate

I here you but the flow still has to be in the right place so the sps can feel comfortable you can have all the trun over if they don't feel comfortable the recede then die. They like random flow

Yeah didn't know you used biopellets. That stuff on a reef tank ive never seen do well. Maybe in a ULN system but for ones with mixed reef and fish that you feed good amounts of food(limpets or rods) always ended up with issues(color leaving sps, fish having fin rot). I only use GFO to get my P04 down to start and now I don't even use it. I use a fuge/skimmer and I grow everything. Full LED on fuge(blue/red/white) and tank(reefbreeders evergrows). Dose alk/cal(two part apex) and mag by hand as needed. I run my dual MP40 100% for weeks on end. Ive ran them at 20% for weeks on end. I have ran 120 optics for spread(300 avg sps), ive ran 90 optics for more par(400-600 avg). I play all day and everything does well. 14 fish. All the extra stuff like carbon and ozone can be a tricky *******. Would like to try carbon but wouldn't run it all the time. All the rest is for showing off.
