Why did my fish die?

I feel the BTAs and Urchins would be hit first. Even fairly injured clowns are quite hardy to params when compared to those two

Good observation. If the Urchins, snails, hermit crabs, and RBTAs seem unaffected. What does that rule out?

None of that. Overpowered powerhead in the tank...
do you have any filtration chemicals in the tank? even counting something like GAC.

Any other toxic animals present?

dealing with any pest algae or flatworms that could have toxins?

Nothing. Just using live rock for filtration and some Chemipure Blue.

Ok. An additional observation...my GSP rock is not fully opening. It was open all day, now they are half extended. I'm guessing something chemical is going on.

Another piece of info I did not mention is the RBTAs were in need of rehab....they have little color and little to no tentacles. I got them from a tank they were failing to thrive in...other BTAs there were fine.
