Why did my zoas change color

Tbh i havent done anything different
Daily dosing
I dont really do water changes now so maybe that
I find my parameters have been more stable.
All my other zoas are fine, but this patch of Eagle eyes changes the red to green which sucks.

They are starting to resemble these greens ones i have behind my chaos

I understand zoas do this but will they go back to normal or is this my patch of zoas now.
 
And why do they do this
Is it for there saftey or is there a reason.
They use to be so red in the middle -_-

Zoas will morph and my guess is that’s just how they grow, they naturally morph. From my experience I’ve seen more morphing in higher salinity but that’s just my experience. Not tested I don’t think. Anyhow, your zoas look like they need more light they look to be reaching rather than spreading across a rock!

Hmm i can turn them up mkre but havent wanted to cause other coral. I have noticed they stretch more now
 
Hmm big tods i agree. My hammer is much cooler or frilled out. Zoas dont look bad but some do stretch hmm

Looks like a bacterial infection by a certain bacteria that make zoa glow green. Forgot what it’s called but saw it mentioned in a post on here the other day. I have fruit loops with green ans purple mouths now that glow under blue light because of it
