Never had a gorg before and found one at a local club meeting. Since I put it in the tank all the tangs hang around it, try to lay sideways in it. It looks similar to a clown hosting a nem. Anyone else observe this behavior before?

Interesting... my tangs have never done that with any of my gorgs. They will somtimes eat algae off the gorgs if the gorgs haven't shed recently...

Had a Sailfin that decided the polps on our gorgs tasted good. Needless to day the Sailfin found a new home

One of my hippo tangs now has some weird looking brown growth that looks like gorg polyps coming out of the side of his body. I've never seen them on before and it happened about week after I added the gorg. I wonder if some of the polyps attached to his body or something. Very weird and nasty looking.

WOW that be crazy try and get a pic id love to see that!!

The gorg polyps on the hippo tang sounds really crazy and odd...have you done any research to see if they host on animals? It can't be good...

The tang has been scraping them off on the side of the overflow. Here's a pic if the hippo "hosting" the gorg.
