Why do my zoas change

Why do the skirts of my zoas go from being short and thick to long and skinny

I have seen many zoas do this from being in high flow

High flow will make all zoas have super long and skinny eyelashes. Same as high light will make them shrink

I love how sometimes they get curly too in higher flow.

I was just worried they were unhealthy I might try and turn the flow down a little and see if they change back.

They're healthy, I actually prefer the high flow look

i prefer the long skirts because they give the zoas a bit more movement in the tank, it looks nice though.

high flow makes them smaller and long flashy skirts although I like this though. and vice versa around

People worry about corals changing in their tank but in my opinion when something chenges it means it's happy and adapting. Every tank has a personality and after a while you can see patterns like long skirts. They look beautiful!!!

Their are very cool looking with the long skirts I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a sign of the going to melt their in the lowest flow area in the tank lol
