Hey guys I wanted your opinions on chemiclean. I was just on a thread where people were saying it was a last resort, however myself and a few other people said it works wonders and it is safe for fish and inverts. Is it because it doesn't deal with the underlying cause of cyano? Because I've used it for a long time in my tanks, store tanks, and friend's tanks and most of the time it doesn't come back and is gone after a the first treatment. Just want your guy's thoughts on chemiclean.

I've used it a few times and never had any loses or issues with it, even when dosing it back to back. My only guess is people are not using it the proper way.

Just finished my chemiclean cycle today. Didn’t kill all the cyano but I used less than recommended. I had no losses and I used an air stone and had my pump pointing upwards!

Sorry thought you meant you started it today. If you under dose thats probably why, but sometimes it takes two doses

The tank looks wonders better. I can’t just see the slightest remnants of it here and there so i might do a small dose again and I think that should do it! So far I like the results though. I too have heard of it killing stuff but I think if you follow directions there should be no issues. Then again it’s my first time using.
