I got a new trumpet coral yesterday because it looked so different and brighter than the frag i already had. I dont even see a hard skeleton on it,its just bright neon green? Does anyone know if they have different names?First pic is the new one 2nd pic is the one i already had. Just took both these pics at the same time.

The second one looks like its not thriving. I would recommend getting your water tested and possibly feeding them or the second one will start to look like the first one in due time

I feed every 3 days and water parameters are good i test for everything weekly, im thinking its definitley a different type of trumpet coral all together

Heres another pic, definitley looks ok but wildly different

What is "good?"

Trumpets are generally all very similar with some minor differences like color and size. I can say with 99% certainty its the same coral just one is doing better than the other. Its possible you're over lighting the frag or your alk is too high or your water is too clean

Additionally, what you test with is also important

Second pic just looks like an unhappy coral.
