I remember reading it is recommended to keep rocks off the back glass, what are the reasons why? I came up with an aquascape for my im 10 but I took it down and now I can't remake and the only other way I like the rocks there are 1-2 rocks touch the back glass

thanks

The benefit of the rocks not being up against the back glass is that you can have some flow back there and flush all of the junk that builds up in the back of the aquarium. All in all it helps with the overall flow of the aquarium as well.

I believe some people that may have tempered glass tanks would not want rocks to contact the glass and risk it spidering and exploding then flooding.

I would only stack rocks against the back wall on my AIOs with plastic chamber divider.

the tank is a innovative marine nuvo 10.

maybe I could order 10-30 pounds of marco rubble and make a pseudo nsa aquascape(not full because I don't like the lack of caves)

Is the AIO chamber seperator glass?
If not i wouldnt stress it.

And as said already, helps cryptic flow areas recieve some flow if you keep space back there.
I scaped mine into a swimming chsnnel in the rear but your tank is so small i dont think any nano fish need much swimming room....
