Why do we not see more underwater reef lights?

I use tongs to grab most things in the tank, and would probably place a small compact or hand mirror on the bottom of the tank to angle light under a ledge or into a cave. I wouldn't place the mirror in a manner that was inaccessible or would be difficult to remove at a later point. I might try that in my RSM250, which has broken fluorecent ballasts.
