It’s been set up for 1.5 days and I noticed this this morning. Why does it look like that and what should I do? That’s Red Sea foundation B.

I'm guessing that the line with the precipitate is the Alk. Not uncommon. Keep an eye on it and if (when) it gets worse, replace it.

It went off a little bit ago and seems fine now. Strange though since it’s only been there for a day and a half! And yes, it’s the alkalinity.

I wonder if my line is hitting the water when I close the lid. Would that possibly cause the clouding? I could cut the line shorter.

nope, it’s not touching water

Ok, when I put my pumps in feed mode, the tubes do go under water. That is likely the cause, but even if it isn’t, not a great design. I cut the tubes shorter so they’ll never be underwater.
